Hello, this is my fourth blog about revisions. Through revisions, I will explore the validity and relevance of the information presented on various social media platforms. While major news outlets like CNN or The New York Times tend to be accepted as credible sources, we often view others, like TMZ or certain social media accounts, with skepticism. This difference in perception highlights how important it is to evaluate where our information comes from and why some sources are more trusted than others. I will also include the feedback from Dr. B in the revisions.

    Hi Ashtyn, I think these are great ideas. I would offer to take into account what news sources are most commonly referenced or cited by users on social media. Keep up the great work!

 Hello! As I was reading the studies for my paper I found a gap in information relating to emerging social media. Facebook and Twitter were the most mentioned as they are already cemented social media platforms however the growth of different platforms like TikTok and Threads, can result in new information. Newer platforms operate with different algorithms, content formats, and user demographics, which may influence political communication in unique ways. Understanding how these newer platforms compare to both traditional media and older social media in shaping voter attitudes, behaviors, and engagement is crucial, especially as their popularity continues to rise among younger voters.
